Our philosophy is geared toward proper physical fitness and nutrition, in addition to proper postural alignment to reach and maintain a level of balance in your body. We will teach you to live in a life of balance and help you to decrease the most common cause of many diseases today, stress. These stresses are not only physical, but also chemical and mental as well. Exercise is an excellent way to relieve stress and encourage good health. By eating properly, your body is able to create a better internal environment without the abundance of chemical toxins.

By working with a personal trainer, you become accountable for your health choices. Because all individuals are different, have different goals, and have different exercise needs, we are able to personalize your program in order to do our part in helping you achieve the best results possible. Sometimes all you need is a little coaching to get you on the right path to better health!

The focus of your personal training program begins with postural correction and balance/stability training while also incorporating body weight resistance (i.e. push ups or lunges) and single leg exercises to increase your core strength as well as your awareness of body position (proprioception). This will help create a better balance of muscular strength, as well as challenge the brain-body connection.

By increasing your fitness level you decrease your risk of major and minor illness and injury, while gaining overall positive results for your health. Each workout integrates balance and coordination to create muscular balance. We focus on postural correction through specific exercises for each area that needs improvement. We approach fitness with a functional design in order to integrate movements as we do in daily life instead of isolating one muscle at a time, much like gym equipment is designed to do. By doing this, core work becomes the staple of each exercise.
